[There is a short, clearly accidental clip that takes place inside Jezebel's laboratory. On one of the tmetal tables sits a young woman wearing a simple robe, staring blankly ahead at Jezebel and a tall figure standing with him. You might recognize the girl; she was once the corpse that Jezebel was sewing together.

She steps onto the floor from the table, standing straight and walking a few steps, her face expressionless. With a small cry, the figure near Jezebel rushes forward and embraces her, cooing and muttering endearments at her while stroking her hair. The girl doesn't seem to react. And all the while, Jezebel stands to the side, taking notes.]

M has awoken five minutes after ritual. Motor and verbal skills are excellent, no signs of physical deterioration or remaining injuries.

Shows signs of amnesia -- did not recognize J. Showing complete lack of emotion. Overlooked brain damage? Result of trauma from death/betrayal? Investigate.

Meeting with CM tomorrow. Bring notes.

All medicine is unnatural. It interferes with the pattern of disease and then dying, but I doubt you would consider those to be sins.

I do it for the sake of discovery and for Delilah.

That's my entire point. You call what I do unnatural, but that is what all medicine does. It interferes with the natural process of illness and death.

Using medicine to interfere with the process of death is logical, even if unnatural. Just as how resurrection is no more a sin than medicine, even if it unnaturally postpones death.

I think you've lost sight of how this conversation began. I am advocating bringing the dead back because it is like medicine in its ability to combat death. Nowhere have I argued that using medicine is wrong. Hence, no hypocrisy.

I'm aware of what we were discussing, but you always claim that we do unnatural things and then you do the same. Knowing you, it's easy to see that you wouldn't bring the death back if the wasn't a selfish reason behind.

You're assuming I meant that 'unnatural' meant the same thing as 'wrong'. On the contrary, I advocate both medicine and resurrection because they are unnatural.
